Go Big or Go Home!
Positive emails coming in from international companies such as Holland America Line in relation to sponsorship and, would you believe Coca Cola are looking at our proposal. Its not a no and its not a yes but they want to know more about what we are trying to do. So we now have to provide proposal packages to potential sponsors which we will be working on in the next day or so and sending these off to potential sponsors. To obtain international sponsorship on this kind of level would be nothing short of a miracle and well just damn amazing! We are trying and trying each day by sending out our proposal to international companies as well as local companies to show our ambitions and aspirations. We hope companies will see our proposal as an exciting opportunity that will provide rewards for both parties. To support the first ever Falkland Islands ball hockey team would be an historical moment and we hope this will appeal to potential companies.
The latest correspondence to come in is from Colin Gennoe, Director of Marketing and & International Development who has the following kind words:
The final 3 games of the Dynasafe BACTEC Xtreme Cup are going to be interesting with the table looking extremely close. Walker Creek Warriors are hanging on by the skin of their teeth and will be hoping to win their final game and have a superior goal difference to that of the Goose Green Cavaliers. The Cav's however have aspirations of their own and are looking at the finals place with 2 wins. Hill Cove Hurricanes sit top of the mini league at the moment with 7 points but with all games played can only watch on and hope results go their way. Spring Point Spartans and the Port Howard Patriots are also in the mix and find their last games crucial if they have any hope of reaching the finals or settling for a 3rd place playoff.
The Junior Morrison Xtreme League sees the Camilla Creek Crusaders sitting atop of the pile after a comfortable win over the Walker Creek Warriors in their last game. The chasing pack will be hoping to grab maximum points to close the gap on the Crusaders and hope to win the head to heads with them. There have been some cracking games played out with players shining for their teams. We really do have some brilliant little players and the future is looking very, very bright for ball hockey in the Falkland Islands.

Please donate, even if its £20 as it is going to a great cause and will help equip the team ready for 2019.
With that it is time to go as the cat (who has just had an op) is giving me the evils......feeding time again I think!
